CAPITAL STROKE UPDATE : US MARKETS 15-Dec-2015

CS 15-Dec-2015 US stocks recovered from early losses on Monday to close higher, helped by firmer oil prices, as investors awaited an expected Federal Reserve interest rate hike later in the week. The Dow Jones industrial average rose 103.29 points, or 0.6 percent, to 17,368.5, the S&P 500 gained 9.57 points, or 0.48 percent, to 2,021.94 and the Nasdaq Composite added 18.76 points, or 0.38 percent, to 4,952.23.
