Asian shares were mixed on Monday following results from the European Central Bank’s stress tests and gains on Wall Street last week.
China’s Shanghai Composite declined 0.80 percent or 18.83 points at 2,283.95. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng shed 1.03 percent or 239.86 points at 23,062.34.
Japan’s Nikkei was up 0.34 percent or 51.97 points at 15,343.61. Singapore’s Straits Times was flat at 3,220.12.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite rose 0.44 percent or 8.52 points at 1,934.21. Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted fell 0.35 percent or 29.98 points at 8,616.03.
