Asian shares traded mixed on early Wednesday after US stocks broke a three-session winning streak as investors kept a cautious eye on geopolitical tensions.
China’s Shanghai Composite was flat at 2,221.47. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was flat at 24,666.03.
Japan’s Nikkei was flat at 15,159.08. Singapore’s Straits Times was down 0.13 percent or 4.18 points at 3,299.21.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite was up 0.16 percent or 3.26 points at 2,044.73. Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted was flat at 9,164.40.
