Asian stocks rebounded on early Monday after an easing of geopolitical jitters helped Wall Street reclaimed lost grounds last week.
China’s Shanghai Composite added 0.39 percent or 8.46 points at 2,202.89. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng gained 0.89 percent or 216.21 points at 24,547.62.
Japan’s Nikkei advanced 1.77 percent or 261.72 points at 15,040.09. Singapore’s Straits Times gained 0.56 percent or 18.52 points at 3,307.41.
Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted jumped 0.68 percent or 61.52 points at 9,147.48. South Korea’s Seoul Composite rose 0.53 percent or 10.76 points at 2,041.86.
