Asian stocks were mixed Monday due to ongoing geopolitical tensions while volumes were light with Japan shut for a public holiday.
China’s Shanghai Composite was down 0.16 percent or 3.35 points at 2,055.71. Singapore’s Straits Times was up 0.14 percent or 4.78 points at 3,315.31.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite gained 0.38 percent or 7.60 points at 2,027.02. Taiwan’s
Taiwan Weighted added 0.73 percent or 68.66 points at 9,469.63.
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was flat at 23,458.30 and Japan’s Nikkei shut today.
